green steps.

In small and big ways we are doing our part to go green. For a few years now, we ditched the mailing paper copies of our newsletter in exchange for e newsletter and marketing communication. We recycle. We re-use (check out our clever reuses for Barrels in our gift shop!) and we try to do our part to leave a small carbon footprint.

Jonathan Edwards is proud to announce its latest initiative to go green. From the farm to inside the tasting room, we are now using a 5% biofuel with all of our heating oil and diesel fuel. The biofuel is recycled cooking oil from regional restaurants. It is then cleaned and blended in with the other fuels. It is one small step in support of overall sustainability.

On your next trip to the winery, if you smell nuggets and fries as our tractor passes by you'll know why...
