*Friday was the day. The fourth annual Cookie Bake-Off here amongst the staff at the winery. In a very consensus-building, democratic, hardworking but laid-back crew, this annual holiday tradition brings out our wildly competitive sides. And as it turns out, in true holiday spirit, we were all winners. Actually there were two tied for third, second and for the first time ever, first prize. Congratulations to Mike and Todd on their co-win. We know it frustrated them both all weekend.
Who knew toffee cookies, caramel chocolate with coconut and oatmeal raisin paired so well with our new Syrah?
