indian summer days.

The sun has returned here in New England after almost a week of grey and drizzle. We love this season... when the warm Indian Summer days roll into the cooler days of Autumn. Our grapes are ripening for harvest, everyone returns from summer vacations and kids load up the back packs to get ready for the first day of school.

With a forecast for sunny and upper 70s for the next four or five days, isn't a JE visit just the thing to welcome the new season? Pack a picnic, do a wine tasting and enjoy the vineyards for the last of the summer days. Or join us in the evening for our last two concerts of the season....

On Thursday August 26th, we have Jamies Junk Show playing from 7-9:30 and all ticket sales will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Lawrence & Memorial in memory of Keelan Budds. This is our second annual benefit concert and promises to be a great night of lively acoustics incorporating rock, reggae and bluegrass!

On Sunday August 29th, we are nearly sold out for our Ben Taylor Concert to benefit Chikumbuso-an organization spearheaded by women in our local community to bring AIDs awareness through microenterprise, education and hope to a village in Zambia.
Ben Taylor, the son of legendary parents James Taylor and Carly Simon puts the kick back into folk- be sure to purchase your tickets before they are gone!

So grab a picnic, head up the Hill and join us for a glass of JE on the last days of summer---and feel good knowing you are doing it for a good cause!
