What a night!

Jonathan Edwards Winery was so thrilled to host another sold out event on Sunday bringing the talented Brothers McCann and Ben Taylor to sing {and toast} to a good cause!

More than 500 came out to enjoy a beautiful night of music under the stars to benefit Chickumbuso- a womens and orphans project in Zambia raising hope and opportunity through microenterprise. Jonathan Edwards Winery is proud to donate $10,000 {half of all ticket sales and a portion of wine sales} to this project spearheaded by Sabrina Buehler and Linda Wilkinson of North Stonington.

Brothers Mc Cann is an eclectic mix {think Amos Lee meets Jamiroqaui and Steely Dan...} of talented musicians {two of them really are brothers} that had the crowd singing call and response style and dancing in their seats to warm up for the headliner, Ben Taylor. You will surely be seeing more of them here at the winery!
Ben Taylor's smooth vocals, warm storytelling, relaxed style and folk influences of his parents {Carly Simon and James Taylor}kept audiences attentive and engaged throughout his continuous two hour show. He ending the performance by reciting a thoughtful poem about the stars and our place in this world. The standing ovation and chanting of 'Ben. Ben. Ben.' ended a truly magical evening!

Jonathan Edwards Winery was proud to donate and be involved to this very special night.
Thank you to all who came out to enjoy a glass of wine, fantastic music and our vineyard setting for a great cause!
